It’s a beautiful part of the country but is sometimes overlooked when people are deciding where to travel. I’m sure you won’t forget about this region after you’ve read these compelling reasons to go there, though!

Visit York

York is possibly one of the oldest cities in the country, and you’ll be able to discover a lot of its history while you are there. You can take a tour around the epic York Minster, which dates back to the 7th century. You will also be able to walk down the historic Shambles, a street with some of the city’s oldest buildings along it. There are also lots of great shops where you can rummage around for some cool souvenirs to take home with you.
