FREE attractions to visit on St David's Day 2019

‘To celebrate St David’s Day 2019, a host of attractions across Wales are offering free entry for visitors on Friday 1st March…’

If you fancy saving some money while brushing up on your Welsh history, Cadw is offering free entry to 16 sites across Wales. Portmeirion (which isn’t run by Cadw) is also offering free access for the day.  It’s time to fill up on Welsh cakes, cider, lamb and leeks* and head out to see some of the incredible attractions that the Land of the Dragon has to offer.

North Wales

Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey

Caernarfon Castle, Gwynedd

Conwy Castle, Conwy

Harlech Castle, Gwynedd

Criccieth Castle, Gwynedd

Dolwyddelan Castle, Conwy

Portmeirion Village, Gwynedd

South Wales

Carreg Cennan Castle, Carmarthenshire

Caerphilly Castle, Caerphilly

Chepstow Castle, Monmouthshire

Castell Coch, Cardiff (must be booked in advance due to its size)
