‘Travel Bug is currently unable to travel, so he thought he’d share the fascinating facts about Paris he uncovered on his last trip…

When TB was in Paris, he drank too much champagne, visited lots of beautiful sights, and enjoyed relaxing on the bank of the Seine with his humans.  He also did some fact hunting.

Trees

Paris has around 470k trees and every single one of them is measured. Every. Single. One. Travel Bug doesn’t think he would be very good at this job because it doesn’t sound like he’d get much time to nap…

Doggos

There are more dogs in Paris than children. The Travel Bug thinks this is the best thing about the city.

He loves all doggos and, if he lived in Paris, he would be able to pet them all the time.  And there would hardly be any noisy kids trying to grab his nose and chew him. Children often think Travel Bug is a toy.

The Locked Apartment

A Paris apartment was left locked for 70 years but its rent was always paid on time. When the mysterious renter of the property died and the apartment door was finally unlocked, artwork valued at 2 million Euros was discovered.

Travel Bug always keeps his door locked in case someone tries to steal the pictures he paints for his human’s fridge.

Do you have any other fascinating facts about Paris for the Travel Bug?
