We’re in the middle of the Lockdown 3 here in Wales and the weather has been less than kind…

Between the rain and the storms, it’s all about cosy winter wear for me over the past couple of months. However, somewhere in the depths of my brain, I seem to have held on to the notion that maybe, just maybe, I may get the chance to wear something at some stage that is way fancier than my usual sweat pants and hoodie combo. This is what I’ve been ordering with crossed fingers…

Blue Chinese Print Mesh Dress

This caught my eye the second I set my eyes on it. I realise it’s the absolutely wrong outfit for Welsh winters but the style and the print of this Chinese mesh dress meant I had to have it. My husband is Chinese, and in true Chinese customery style, I wore a red wedding dress as a sign of luck for our nuptials, so I figured this would go down just as well. The dress has plenty of room to move and I just need to find me a blue underskirt and vest top to wear underneath.

Black Zip Up Ribbed Skirt Set

I love this little black zip up set because it’s stretchy enough to make it totally comfortable but also for the fact that I can mix and match it with other items to give me more options should I ever get to leave the house for a night out again. Mind you, if I keep up my current lockdown binge-eating habit, I might not get into it when lockdown ends…

Pink Leopard Print T-Shirt

I adore the lightweight material of this tee as much as I love the lip design. The pink leopard print La Femme t-shirt is a great choice to match up with my yoga pants since all my exercise is pretty much done at home these days. Fingers crossed, I might even get to team this up with shorts this summer if I’m allowed to pop down to my local beach.
